Instructions for use
Symptomatic treatment should be short (a few days) and limited to the time of cough onset.
Adult: 2 tablespoons 3 times a day.
Child: 2 ml/kg/day divided into 3 doses, either:
Children 25 to 50 kg (8 to 15 years): 3 to 5 tablespoons daily.
Children from 15 to 25 kg (approximately 4 to 8 years): 1 tablespoon 3 times a day.
Child 12 to 15 kg (30 months to 4 years): 2 teaspoons 3 times a day.

Helicidine 10 ml
Excipients: xanthan gum, sodium saccharin, liquid maltitol, raspberry flavor, purified water. Preservatives: methyl parahydroxybenzoate, potassium sorbate.
Precautions for use
History of hypersensitivity to one of the constituents (particularly methyl parahydroxybenzoate and sodium propyl and other parahydroxybenzoate salts).
Infants (under 2 years of age): See Warnings and Precautions for use.
Warnings :
• In case of fatty and purulent sputum, in case of fever or in case of chronic bronchial and lung disease, the therapeutic behavior should be reviewed.
• A productive cough should be observed, which is the main element of bronchopulmonary protection.
• Combination of bronchial mucodifiers with cough suppressants and/or agents that dry out secretions (atropines) is not rational: chelicidin can cause bronchial congestion in children. Indeed, its ability to drain bronchial mucus is limited due to the physiological characteristics of its respiratory tree. Therefore, it should not be used in infants (see Contraindications, Side Effects).
• Treatment should be reviewed if symptoms or pathology persist or worsen.
Precautions for use :
Helicidin 10% syrup contains hydrogenated glucose syrup (or liquid maltitol). Its use is not recommended in patients with fructose intolerance.
This medicine contains methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218); it may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed).

In most cases, a painful and tiresome dry cough often manifests itself in autumn or winter, coinciding with the return of colds and pathologies affecting the respiratory tract.
A dry cough is irritating and non-productive because it does not produce mucus. This can be more debilitating than a greasy cough because the lack of phlegm prevents the bronchi from emptying.
Solutions for dry cough:
Drink throughout the day, especially hot herbal teas made with thyme or lilac tincture to soothe irritation caused by coughing.
Cypress essential oil is ideal for the treatment of dry cough such as “smoker’s tracheitis”.

Attention, the medicine Helicidine Syrup is not a product like the others. Read the package leaflet carefully before ordering. Do not leave Helicidine Syrup drugs within the reach of children.
