Indications
Bacterial conjunctivitis, corneal ulcer.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity (including to other quinoline derivatives), children under 12 years of age.

Side effects
Appearance of white crystalline precipitate in patients with corneal ulcer (17%); in less than 10% of cases – a sensation of a foreign body in the eye, burning, conjunctival hyperemia, crusting on the eyelids, an unpleasant aftertaste in the mouth (immediately after instillation); less- than 1% of cases – keratopathy, keratitis, the appearance of spots or infiltration of the cornea, eyelid edema, lacrimation, photophobia, decreased visual acuity, nausea, allergic reactions.
